Cllr Rouse will be in Burrows Bookshop, in High Street Passage, Ely, from 11am-12.30pm on August 1, giving readers the opportunity to meet him and talk about the inspiration behind the follow-up to the popular Fens End.

SHBB Publishing’s Susan Harrison, the editor and publisher of the books, said: “The Ghosts of Fens End is a fine follow-up to the popular Fens End, and Michael once again captures the spirit of the fen countryside and the people who inhabit it, combining fiction with historical fact to tell a moving and evocative story that will touch the hearts of readers of all ages.

“We were thrilled that Fens End captured the imaginations of both children and adults – Ghosts of Fens End will undoubtedly do the same. Though the narrative picks up where Fens End left off, it is also a great stand alone read, and is the second book in what is to become The Fens End Trilogy.”

Copies of The Ghosts of Fens End, published by SHBB Publishing, will be available from Burrows Bookshop from August 1. To order your copy, contact Burrows on 01353 669759. Price £6.99.
