OLD people’s housing complex The Dale at Elm is to be demolished and replaced with 21 homes.
Roddons Housing Association secured consent from Fenland District Council Planning Committee last week.
The Dale - currently empty and boarded up - has been unused for some time. Roddons said it was unsuitable and no longer fit for purpose.
All 21 new homes will be two storey and a mix of terraced and semi-detached properties. Fourteen will have two bedrooms and seven will have three bedrooms.
The layout includes three rows of terraces and three blocks of semi-detached homes. Access will be off Begdale Road and all Saints Close.
