The annual meeting of the Wisbech branch of the NHS Fellowship was held at the Rosmini Centre where 30 members attended.
The chairman said it had been a good year with a variety of speakers including representatives from the Fen branch attending the regional meetings in Bury St Edmunds and Cambridge.
A bring and buy sale and the harvest festival had been well attended and the committee were thanked for their work through the year.
Four members of the committee are due to retire this year but they are all willing to stand again and were voted for another three years, including the chairman who will stand for another year.
Membership is £25 for 2018-19.
The branch annual holiday is on May 4 to Newcastle.
• The Fellowship welcomes new members. Anyone who has worked in the NHS in any capacity can join. They meet on the last Wednesday of the month in the Rosmini centre Wisbech at 1.30pm. If you are interested ring Jenny on 01945 860589.
