AN Army veteran cycled 100 miles to help today’s injured soldiers.

Paul Ketteringham, of March, set off from Great Yarmouth’s Fawlty Towers Hotel on August 7 and kept pedalling until he reached the Help for Heroes charity event at Skylark Garden Centre, near Wimblington, later that weekend.

The former Royal Anglian, 63, already has more than 100 in sponsorship and hopes to raise as much cash as possible to help with the rehabilitation of wounded armed forces personnel.

He said: “They have lost limbs and often have to struggle by on their own with little money. They need a little bit of help.”
