AN Army veteran cycled 100 miles to help today’s injured soldiers.

Paul Ketteringham, of March, set off from Great Yarmouth’s Fawlty Towers Hotel on August 7 and kept pedalling until he reached the Help for Heroes charity event at Skylark Garden Centre, near Wimblington, later that weekend.

The former Royal Anglian, 63, already has more than £100 in sponsorship and hopes to raise as much cash as possible to help with the rehabilitation of wounded armed forces personnel.

He said: “They have lost limbs and often have to struggle by on their own with little money. They need a little bit of help.”
