A Victorian history expert from a famous London museum visited a Fenland school to discuss a ground-breaking group of nineteenth century artists.
Victoria and Albert Museum’s head of adult programmes Joanna Banham explained to Wisbech Grammar School pupils and guests how members of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood challenged the Victorian art establishment from 1848 to 1853.
The speaker shed light on a number of significant works of art that were completed before the movement broke up and the painters went their separate ways.
