Extra two days’ paid leave for fundraising staff at Chatteris firm

Staff at Chatteris firm HR GO Driving have been rewarded with two days’ extra paid leave to help good causes in 2018 after helping the company to raise £55,000 for charity last year.
They raised more than £27,000 for various charities by skydiving, cycling, running, walking, rattling collecting boxes, riding motorcycles, delivering food, knitting poppies, making coffee, helping children and volunteering. HR GO plc, which celebrated its diamond jubilee with a nationwide 60 Acts of Kindness campaign, matched the toal with a similar donation to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution, the firm’s charity of the year.
The driving team raised more than £5,000 from sponsored skydives.
Jane Mallan, managing director at HR GO Fenlands (Peterborough and Chatteris) raised £770 from her skydiving debut over Sibson Airport to support German Shepherd Dog Rescue.
Robyn Aichinger, manager of the Chatteris branch, leapt for Little Miracles, a charity that supports families with children needing additional help. She teamed up with Ben Major, HR GO driving regional manager (North) to raise £2,000.
Jack Parkinson, company chairman, said: “I’m overwhelmed by the support our staff have given to our Acts of Kindness campaign.
“My mother Betty, who founded the business, would have been proud of their efforts.”
