A MEMORIAL Christmas tree has been put up at Fenland Crematorium and is to be decorated with families’ messages of remembrance for loved ones.
The crematorium, in Knights End Road, March, is also raising money for the Children’s Hospice UK with the initiative.
Chris Black, crematorium manager, said: “Christmas can be a hard time for families who have lost loved ones and allowing families to place a message on the tree is one small way of helping them to remember their loved ones at this time of year.
“If they wish, families can make donations for placing their message on the tree to our chosen charity, Children’s Hospice UK.”
Christmas tree tags can be obtained by visiting the crematorium, which is run by Dignity Crematoria, or by ringing 01354 650686.
