It must be one of the most popular, and most easily remembered, tunes of all time - Ee i ee io!
Indeed, Old Macdonald did have a farm and youngsters at Chatteris got first-hand knowledge of it when a group of entertainers came to town. It was part of a series of events run by the town and district council during the school holidays. Most have been in the open air by the bandstand but the rain meant last Friday's was switched to the Bricstan Rooms.
It made no difference to the kids - they lapped it up.
