Fence catches fire in March

A fence caught fire in March yesterday.

At 4.37pm, a crew from March was called to a fence fire in Elwyn Road.

About 6m of fence was well alight and firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish it.

The crew returned to the station by 5.10pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.

Later in the evening (8.44pm), a crew from March was called to a bin fire in Robingoodfellows Lane

Firefighters used hose reels to extinguish the fire in a bin and returned to station by 9pm.

The cause of the fire was also accidental.
