CHILDREN’S author Kevin Price visited a Wisbech book shop to sign copies of his book The Beauty Contest at the Zoo.
Saturday’s event at Fully Booked was one of many activities taking place at the High Street shop for Independent Booksellers Week.
Mr Price, who lives in Norwich, wrote the fun rhyming story to commemorate his young daughter Maisie who died after a short illness.
A number of copies of the book were purchased and signed with personal dedications from the author. Signed copies of the book are still available from Fully Booked.
The fun continues this Saturday when author Rory Clements visits from noon-2pm to sign copies of his latest book, Prince.
There are also numerous competitions running at the store throughout the week.
