The judges said: A long standing independent business who truly care about ensuring a real service to real people in an ever changing world.

What has happened at Kellyvision KCS Limited since winning?
Since winning the award Kellyvision has decided to broaden its portfolio after hearing a presentation last year from bespoke supplier Symphony to include kitchen and bedroom design and installation to meet customers’ changing needs and requirements.
Our kitchen appliance sales have grown vastly over the years and the natural progression was to offer a full kitchen design and installation service, with a view to continue having a great future in the High Street for many years to come.
What have been the company’s main challenges in 2017/18
We have to convince people that shopping locally does not mean they will pay more – in fact we are actually cheaper than most well-known high street retailers and we offer better customer care and much more competitive after sales warranties too.
What has been your biggest success in 2017/18
Being brave enough to continue to set new standards after 35 years of trading.
What are Kellyvision KCS Limited plans for 2018 and beyond?
We have always had a loyal local customer base serving generations of the same families and we are now trying to generate interest from further afield with this new venture.
What did winning the awards mean to you and what would you say to businesses thinking about entering the awards for the first time?
We had reservations about entering and the first time we did we won! The awards evening was a fabulous and well organised event and it is an honour to put the logo onto all our adverts and have the award in our showroom. Would highly recommend businesses thinking about entering for the first time as it makes you sit back and reflect why we do what we do and how we should be proud to promote our businesses.
