Fenland District Council’s one-stop shop in Whittlesey closes at noon tomorrow (Saturday) in preparation for the opening of a new ‘community hub’ nine days later.
The new hub will bring together in one place all the services provided by the council at its shop and the county council’s services available at the library.
It will be the second hub to open - the first opened in Chatteris last year.
Normal service will be resumed from the afternoon of December 15, following the lunchtime launch of the new hub, situated in the town’s library.
Customers who need help from the council before the hub opens should ring 01354 654321 or visit www.fenland.gov.uk
