A MARCH fashion student has wowed visitors to an art exhibition in Cambridge with her innovative denim designs.
Alexandra Poignand showed off her fashion designs at the Visual Arts Exhibition at Cambridge Centre for Sixth-form Studies (CCSS).
Visitors to the exhibition included Councillor Ian Nimmo-Smith, the Mayor of Cambridge, as well as staff, students and their families.
Paintings, graphics, photography, fashion and textiles pieces were on show - with upper-sixth form student Alexandra’s APOD (A Piece of Denim) exhibits drawing the plaudits.
Charlie Ritchie, Head of the Visual Arts and Media Studies Department, said: “As always, the work reflects the creative diversity of our students, and the friendly and encouraging atmosphere that the teachers here cultivate.”
