STUDENTS at the College of West Anglia’s Isle Campus in Wisbech raised more than 300 for children’s charity Barnardo’s at their fashion show.
Barnardo’s donated knitwear to students on the Btec National Diploma Fashion course and, to repay the favour, the students set up charity collection buckets at their show a fortnight ago. They raised 336.25.
Lecturer Michelle James said: “We were very grateful to Barnardo’s for their involvement in this year’s show and were more than happy to collect on their behalf.
“The students enjoyed the opportunity of remodelling the knitwear that Barnardo’s provided and the final results were brilliant.”
