All children achieved Level 4 in mathematics and of these, 52 per cent reached Level 5 and 16 per cent Level 6.

In writing, 100 per cent achieved Level 4 – 58 per cent of whom reached Level 5 and over 5 per cent level 6.

Results on reading were even higher, with all pupils achieving Level 4 and 73 per cent reaching Level 5.

Level 4 is the benchmark by which SATs results nationally are judged.

Head teacher Jo Tomlins said: “I am absolutely thrilled with our results this year. The children and staff have worked tirelessly to achieve such high standards, and their hard work has really paid off.

“It has made me incredibly proud to have had so many parents stop me to congratulate the school this week, and I’m delighted that the children are proud of themselves too.
