PEOPLE in Fenland got the chance to talk rubbish with waste chiefs as part of a workshop on Monday.
The members of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Waste Partnership (RECAP) held the workshop at the Oliver Cromwell Hotel, in March, as part of work to update the Joint Municipal Waste Strategy.
It gave the opportunity for chiefs to hear what people's views were on further action on waste prevention and enforcement action for fly tipping.
The county council has judged the workshop, the only one to be held in Fenland, as a success after 12 people turned up to join in with discussions.
- People who did not go to the meeting but would like to air their views can respond by answering a consultation questionnaire by going to www.recap.co.uk or being sent a copy by calling 0845 045 5207.
