STUDENTS from Wisbech were put through their paces by the RAF during a day of military training.
Around 50 public services students from the College of West Anglia’s Isle Campus, in Wisbech, took on the RAF on a visit to the college’s Cambridge campus.
Members of the RAF and bomb disposal experts gave students training on the remote weapons platform, which deals with devices from a safe distance.
There were demonstrations in weapons handling with a rifle and loading instructions with a general purpose machine gun.
The students also battled it out in a series of challenges including fieldcraft and bushcraft skills.
