TWO teachers from a Fenland primary school raised money for Cancer Research UK at a night-time walking marathon in London.
Paula Candish and Harriet Lampert, who work at Chatteris’ Kingsfield Primary School, began the 26-mile course at 9pm on Saturday and finished at 7am on Sunday.
The teachers have raised 205 for charity so far by completing the ‘Shine’ marathon which uses light as a symbol of hope and the progress which is being made in the fight against cancer.
