A teenager is asking for the support of the Fenland community in her quest to be named the country’s most beautiful woman.

Amber Twell, 17, of March, is one of 13 finalists competing in the first Fresh Photographic heat qualifier for Miss England 2014.

A public vote runs until Sunday January 5, with a top three finish needed if she is to progress in the competition.

If she makes it through her fate will be in the hands of the panel of judges, which includes Miss England 2013, Kirsty Heslewood, who will decide who receives a place in the Miss England semi-final.

From there, the Miss England grand final will be just one step away.
