FENLANDER: Big turnout for Golden Age fair in Friday Bridge

More than 170 people visited the event, which brought together a wide range of statutory organisations and charities that provide services for the over-60s.

Councillor Mac Cotterell, Fenland District Council’s portfolio holder responsible for Golden Age, said: “It was a great turnout – one of the best we’ve ever had. That underlines the increasing pressures that older people are now under and the importance of the help we offer.”
