FENLAND District Council’s leisure centres are running a great competition to find a name for their new soft play mascot. The child who comes up with the best suggestion will win a free birthday party in the soft play area.
Another free party is on offer to the winner of a separate colouring competition. Each party is worth �120.
The competitions will form part of an open weekend for the new Busy Bodies soft play areas at the Manor Leisure Centre in Whittlesey and Hudson Leisure Centre in Wisbech tomorrow and Sunday. Families can book a mini space adventure for children aged up to 11.

Children who can’t get along this weekend can still enter the “Name the Space Man” competition by sending their ideas to Busy Bodies Space Man Competition, Manor Leisure Centre, Station Road, Whittlesey, Peterborough, Cambs PE7 1UA. The closing date is April 1.
