CAKES, sausage rolls and a raffle helped to raise nearly 750 at Fenland District Council’s coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support last week.
Hosted by Councillor Michael Humphrey, Fenland District Council’s chairman, at Fenland Hall, it was part of the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, an annual event staged throughout the country to raise funds for Macmillan.
Richard Barnwell, the High Sheriff of Cambridgeshire, North East Cambridgeshire MP Steve Barclay and the Mayors of Whittlesey, Wisbech and March were among those joining FDC councillors and staff at the event.
