MORE than 2,850 people have already returned questionnaires to Fenland District Council spelling out what they believe the council should make its top priorities over the next year – and hundreds more are expected.
There are still 10 days left in the consultation period, which has been extended to February 7.
The responses will help councillors in the tough decisions they have to make in drawing up the budget for 2011/12. FDC has been identified as one of the 10 local authorities hardest hit by the Government’s public spending cuts.
Copies of the questionnaire are still available in the four Fenland @ your service shops, the three leisure centres and online at www.fenland.gov.uk/yourviews. All responses will be treated in strict confidence.
