EVER wondered exactly what happens to the garden and food waste you put in your brown bin? You can find out at a fun family day out at the Waterbeach Waste Management Park’s recycling open day tomorrow (September 22).
You can go on a coach tour round the site, be part of a fashion show and take a ride in one of the waste vehicles. Other activities include model making and a bouncy castle and there will be plenty of stalls and exhibits showing you how you can recycle more.
The event is from 10am-4pm at the site in Ely Road (A10), Waterbeach, CB25 9PQ. For more details call 01223 861010.
