VARIOUS “taster” sessions for families to experience what the Hudson Leisure Centre has to offer will be part of a free family fun day at the centre in Wisbech next Sunday (September 22) from 10am-4pm.

They include trampolining (11am-1pm), soft play (11am-2pm), and swimming (2-4pm). Other activities will include face painting (10am-1pm) and arts and crafts and sensory play all day.

The day has been organised by Cambridgeshire County Council, Young Lives and Fenland District Council. Young Lives will be using it to gather the views of young people and their families about leisure facilities, particularly about those available for children aged under 14 who have some kind of disability.

Lunch and refreshments will not be provided; however, an area is available for families to bring along a packed lunch.

Parents or carers must stay with their children throughout the day. Anyone keen to attend any of the taster sessions should call 01480 379800 or e-mail community.supportservices@cambridgeshire.gov.uk as soon as possible.
