BUSINESSES keen to cut their transport costs can get some valuable tips at a free seminar being held by the Green Business Club on February 1 from 9am-12.30pm at South Fens Business Centre in Chatteris.

Practical advice on offer will include examples of best practice from companies who have made efficiency savings, including those who have introduced technology such as vehicle tracking.

Businesses which would like to share the ways in which they have improved their use of transport are particularly welcome.

Since its launch by Fenland District Council last year, the Green Business Club has hosted eight seminars on various topics. It is now helping more than 100 businesses to learn new ways of saving money and protecting the environment.

To book a place on the free seminar call Isabel Edgington, FDC’s climate change officer, on 01354 654321 or e-mail iedgington@fenland.gov.uk
