HUNDREDS of youngsters took part in a series of half-term holiday activities organised by Fenland District Council and other partners, including Atelier East and the Ormiston Children and Families Trust.
The biggest crowd – nearly 150 children and adults – was for an afternoon of fun and games at Wisbech St Mary. Volunteers ran a cake stall that raised more than 100 in aid of the “Have a Heart” appeal for East Anglian hospices.
Another 60 children joined in a family fun session in Christchurch, with 38 others attending a similar event in Parson Drove. Other activities were organised in Doddington and Gorefield.
