RESIDENTS in Parson Drove are being invited to a meeting next week to hear more details about proposals to develop 10-12 affordable homes that will be reserved specifically for local people.
The meeting will be held at Parson Drove Pavilion on Tuesday from 5-7pm. Those attending will be shown the architectural plans and proposed layout for the homes to be built on a site near the village surgery.
The plans for the new homes have been drawn up by Roddons. They will be reserved for people on modest incomes with a local connection to help them remain living in the area.
“Local” means someone who has been living in the parish for at least one year, has a strong family connection to the parish or has previously been a resident there, or has been working within the parish for at least a year.
