FENLANDER: Prizes for Manea children who designed posters promoting their village

COUNCILLOR Peter Murphy, Fenland District Council’s portfolio holder responsible for the environment, centre, joined Councillor Mark Archer, back row second right, and other members of the Manea Street Pride group on a recent litter pick.

Cllr Murphy also presented prizes to children from Manea Primary School who took part in a competition to design posters showing what they liked most about their village.

The six winners were Poppy Davies, Phoebe Grant, Amber Kathleen Stevens, Sam Tuck, Niamh Waugh and Jaymie Fitzgibbon, whose entry came out top overall. The competition was organised by FDC.
