SENIOR councillors will be representing Fenland District Council at Remembrance ceremonies around the district this weekend.
Councillor Michael Humphrey, FDC’s Chairman, will be at the Armistice Day ceremony in March today (Friday), while former chairman Councillor Ralph Butcher will be at the Veterans’ Day event at RAF Alconbury,
On Sunday Cllr Humphrey will be on parade in Wisbech and Chatteris and vice-chairman Councillor Ken Mayor will be at Whittlesey and March.
Cllr Humphrey was also due to attend a special Remembrance Assembly at Neale-Wade Community College in March yesterday.
The Union flag will be flying at Fenland Hall from today until Sunday.
