PRE-SCHOOL children got a taste of some good food in their premises at Murrow Children’s Centre earlier this month.

They were taking part in a two-hour session on healthy eating, one of a range of activities laid on in the village during a special Health Week.

The week, which also included physical activities and talks, was designed to raise awareness of health issues and provide information and advice to people of all ages. Different events were held at the school, the Sunshine Club, the youth club and the children’s centre.

They were organised by Fenland District Council, working with the NHS, Ormiston, My Time Active and groups in Murrow. The week culminated in a health fair at The Book Cafe.
