GOREFIELD is the latest community to be swelling the ranks of Street Pride and the Richmond family, pictured, are among the residents who have been joining in.
The group has been carrying out various clean-up activities around the village over the past few weeks, including a litter pick and clearing a public footpath.
Earlier this month they started work in Pocket Park, clearing away all the massive brambles which are choking the shrubs and bushes. Once cleared, the site will be assessed and trimmed or replanted as required.
Anyone keen to join the group should call Jeanette Milner, Street Pride’s coordinator, at Fenland District Council on 01354 654321 or e-mail jmilner@fenland.gov.uk
