IN went the sun and down came the rain but that didn’t prevent enthusiastic members of the Whittlesey Street Pride group launching their latest project – a small plough garden on the A605 on the way out of Coates.
Co-sponsored by the group and its former chairman, Laurence Seaton of Buttercross Auctions, it is their fifth “Gateway” project and the first not to feature a boat. Later this year they plan to place another ‘”flower boat”’ at Guildenburgh Crescent.
