Warm weather guaranteed plenty of visitors to March St Mary's garden fete. The event, at the rectory in St Peter's Road, raised more than £600.
Winner of the main raffle prize, a hamper, was Zena Richardson. A football competition was won by Mr Richardson and Jill Stroud. Michael MacCormack and Charlotte Grieco beat the adults to win the sock competition and Pat Frost was the winner of 'Find a Lucky Square'.
Margaret Scotney, church secretary, said: "Numbers seemed to be down on previous years, probably due to England playing their first World Cup game."
