THERE has been a massive fall in the number of road accidents and a huge increase in bus passengers in Cambridgeshire, according to an in-depth report into the county's five-year strategy to improve transport.

The Delivery Report to Government outlines how Cambridgeshire County Council has invested £146million in improving transport.

Changes in Fenland include improvements to cycle routes in Wisbech and March, improving public transport in March, bypassing Wimblington and Doddington and working to implement school travel plans.
