A LARGE section of a field caught fire in Wimblington.
Fire crews from March were called to fight 70 metres of flames in Hook Road at 6.35pm last night (Tuesday, June 22).
It took them an hour to extinguish the blaze using beaters and hose reels.
The fire is believed to have started accidentally.
