Firefighters cut person free after two-vehicle crash on A141 at Wimblington

ONE person had to be cut out of a vehicle by firefighters following a two-vehicle collision on the A141 at Wimblington this morning.

One crew from March, one crew from Chatteris and a rescue vehicle from Huntingdon were called to the road traffic collision on the Isle of Ely Way.

Police closed the road while the fire service rescued the crash victim. The casualty was taken to hospital by ambulance.

Crews returned to their stations at 7.40am.
