Firefighters tackle blaze at Fenland farm after machinery catches fire in shed

FIREFIGHTERS were called to a Fenland farm this morning after machinery caught fire in a shed.

One crew from March arrived at Bridge Farm in Euximoor Drove, Christchurch, at around 11.45am to find a teleporter alight.

A farm worker tackled the fire before crews arrived and extinguished the diminished blaze, using a hose reel, after the machinery had been towed out of the shed.

The crew returned to their station by 12.35pm.
