Firefighters tackle blaze in Fenland town after wheelie bins set alight

FOUR wheelie bins were set on fire in a Fenland town in the early hours of Saturday.

One fire crew from March was called to a report of a bin on fire at St Peter’s Road in March at 2.40am.

Firefighters arrived and discovered that the blaze was actually four bins, stacked close together, which were all on fire.

The extinguished the blaze using one hose reel and returned to their fire station by 3.10am.

The cause of the fire was deliberate.
