GREEN-FINGERED Jose Peterson, has won first prize in a competition organised by Nene Housing for her stunning back garden.
The judges were impressed by the attention to detail, creativity and colour used in Jose's garden.
Ann Smith and Don Barnes who live at Sudbury Court, Nene's sheltered housing scheme in Whittlesey, were awarded second place for their joint project.
Chairman of Nene, Cliff Walker, presented the winner and runners-up with a certificate and gift vouchers at a special ceremony attended by the first and second place winners in other categories, including best container and best vegetable patch.
Jose, of Hunsbury Close, said: "I really enjoy spending time in my garden and making it look nice all year round.
