Police said they were “lost for words” after a morning drink driver was stopped and found to be five times the legal limit.
A Cambridgeshire Police spokesman said: “We were called by a member of the public at 9.25am this morning who witnessed a drunk driver in Gaul Road, March.
“Police were deployed and arrested a 46-year-old man on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol after he blew 184 in a roadside breath test - the legal limit is 35.
“He is currently in custody at the Police Investigation Centre in Kings Lynn.”
Cops posted on their Twitter page, Fencops, today (Tuesday 12) that they were lost for words and added that enquiries continue.
In England, Wales and Northern Ireland, the legal alcohol limit for drivers is 35 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath.
