A Fenland street dance crew including members from March are to perform with Britain’s Got Talent finalists Flawless.

Elaboration, a crew made up of 10 students aged 11 to 15 from the March, Huntingdon, Ramsey and Peterborough branches of Urban Dance Academy, will represent Peterborough on the dance group’s upcoming UK tour after their video entry won an online competition.

Over 700 other dance schools and crews entered the competition and only one crew was chosen per tour date.

Danielle Manfroi-Harlock, principal of Urban Dance Academy Ltd, said: “The competition, which ran on Instagram, was very popular due to Flawless being so well known and influential in the dance industry.

“It is an amazing chance for these local dancers to showcase their talent. It really is a dream come true.”

“Flawless, stars of the movie series Street Dance 3D 1 and 2 and two-time winners of the World Dance Championships, first found fame on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent.

“Since then they have performed at 40 UK destinations this year and we are so proud to have the opportunity to dance and share the stage with this incredible dance group.”

Elaboration will be performing with Flawless at The Broadway Theatre in Peterborough in October.
