THE May meeting of March and District Flower Club was held at Trinity Church hall. Teas and coffees were served by Marie before the demonstration started and treasurer Anne Lombardo welcomed members and guests, with a special welcome to chairman Marjorie Blake who had been ill.
Demonstrator was Alan Smith whose topic was 'Spring Symphony', which entailed eight arrangements which were used as prizes for the draw. Mr Smith also sold what he called 'love boxes'. A vote of thanks was given by Marie Whittlesea.
The bus outing to Dairy Barns will be on August 8 and tickets are available for secretary June Dempsey. Tickets for the cream tea organised by Ms Dempsey and June Bevis will be on sale at the June meeting. The event will take place on June 27 at Ms Dempsey's home.
The next meeting will be on June 13 when Lisa Wiles of Yaxley will present a demonstration entitled 'Summer Glory'.
