MANY people from a wide area visited the Methodist Chapel to view the flower festival displays. There were also stalls organised as follow: Cakes and preserves, Treasure Jones and Valery Moulton; home-made cards, Roma Andrews; lucky numbers, Ann Johnson and Cath Mallet; raffle, Barbara Gray and Alwyn Elsegood; vegetables, Ralph Gore and George Rollins. Refreshments were served by Carol Gore and Eurig Jones. Proceeds of £393.50 were for chapel funds. The Sunday afternoon the service was conducted by Cyril Skeels of Murrow. Bible readings were by Treasure Jones and Mollie Rollins. Eurig Jones sang a solo. Stewards were Ralph Gore and George Rollins. Theme for the festival was 'New Life' with exhibitions of life from birth to death, with placards made by Susan Bradshaw.
