Estate agents in Chatteris have got Christmas boxed off and are helping families in need of a festive boost.
Colleagues at Harrison Murray Estate agency have been collecting non-perishable food from members of the public at their High Street branch.
They have already built up a haul of items - which is set to be handed over to the Chatteris Foodbank (part of the Trussell Trust Ely Foodbank) in time to be included in Christmas food parcels.
Sales negotiator Myra Alvin, pictured with colleague Jordan Martin and some of the donated items, said: “We can’t thank people enough for the kind donations we have received. It just goes to show how caring Chatteris locals are.
“Here at Harrison Murray we are passionate about helping people onto and along the property ladder, but also pride ourselves on supporting areas of our community where there is a need to - helping out the food bank at Christmas fits perfectly with our ethos.”
