A forklift truck was found on fire within a building in Whittlesey in the early of hours of today.

One crew from Stanground and another from Whittlesey were called to the blaze on Kings Dyke at around 4.57am.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used two hose reels to extinguish the fire, before returning to their stations by 7am.

The cause of the fire was accidental, said a Cambs Fire spokesman.
