Former Cancer Research UK shop to become a cafe?

MARCH’S former Cancer Research UK shop could become a cafe.

A planning application submitted to Fenland District Council proposes to convert the shop unit at 25 Broad Street, which would ensure the creation of five new jobs.

“The aim is to have a cafe shop alongside the other trade shops to serve local people and visitors to meet their food demand in order to give some variety,” says a design and access statement from applicant Seref Sarilmaz.

A decision will be made on the application in due course.
