A MOTORIST caught speeding along the Forty Foot Bank at Chatteris, the scene of several fatal accidents, was landed with a court bill for £500 this week.
James Brady, 31, of Bronze Street, March, admitted driving at 62mph along the riverside road on April 22, when the limit is 50mph. He also admitted having no insurance for the Ford Ranger he was driving.
Fenland magistrates fined him a total of £450 with £35 costs and a £15 surcharge, and six points were endorsed on his licence.
