FOUR youth groups fought against the urge to sleep to raise funds for their respective organisations at March and District Museum.
Wimbo Kidz, young people from CATS (Community Amateur Theatre Society), The March, Chatteris & Rural Area Youth Board and Wimblington’s Youth & Young Adult Zone – YYAZ took part in a Sponsored Stay Awake.
Amanda Carlin, who is a co-ordinator at Wimbo Kidz, a youth activity group for 11-14 year olds, believes the event was a roaring success.
She said: “Everyone had a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
“The event brought our local heritage alive to the young people and that has helped to develop confidence and empowered the young people.”
